oUR STORY

Elite Crete was established more than three decades ago, in 1991, by Bob and Sheila Ingham. The company was originally dedicated to delivering high quality pattern imprinted concrete installations and quickly built a reputation for craftsmanship and reliability within the industry.

However, after several years of working in the field, the founders became increasingly frustrated by the limited availability of premium grade materials that met their exacting standards. Determined to raise the bar for quality, they chose to bring production in-house. This involved investing in state-of-the-art dry blending machinery and drawing on the expertise of leading pattern imprinted concrete product manufacturers in the United States at the time.

Since then, Elite Crete has been manufacturing its own colour hardeners and release agents for over 30 years, consistently adhering to the same high-specification formulations that underpin the company’s reputation for durability and performance.

At the same time, the business has remained committed to innovation, continually monitoring and adopting new developments across the wider concrete industry to ensure its products and processes remain at the forefront of the sector.

THE JOURNEY

HOW WE HAVE GROWN

In 2021, Elite Crete further expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include the production of external sealers and concrete imprinting mats. This milestone made the company the only manufacturer in the United Kingdom able to produce all four key pattern-imprinted concrete components entirely in-house, reinforcing its position as a leader in the field.

Now operated by the next generation, Elite Crete has evolved into a proud multi-generational organisation. Alongside its established expertise in pattern imprinted concrete, the business has also diversified into the growing resin bound stone paving market through its sister company, Colour Pave, continuing a long standing tradition of innovation, quality, and family led commitment to the trade.
